The mission of the CPSF is to support Corvallis public schools by providing resources and opportunities that help every student succeed. Our funding priorities include:
- Educational Access: Removing barriers to education by addressing pressing needs such as mental health support, and assistance for students navigating financial insecurity.
- Learning Enrichment: Funding grants and programs that support educator and student creativity, advance equity, and inspire students—fueling their excitement for learning.
- Academic Support: Providing real-world learning opportunities and academic interventions that help every student find success and stay on track to graduate.
As a service to the District, the Corvallis Public Schools Foundation may serve as the fiscal sponsor of your school or program’s fundraising efforts. Your fundraising activities must be consistent with the Foundation’s exempted charitable purpose and the priorities stated above. All fundraising activities conducted on behalf of school programs must follow Corvallis School Board policy and must be pre-approved by a 509J administrator.
To support future fundraising activity and the ongoing operations of CPSF, a 5% administrative fee is applied to all donations received.
Fiscal sponsorship services include:
- Processing of your group’s designated donations in an efficient and transparent manner.
- Providing an online giving option through the CPSF website.
- Issuing a charitable contribution acknowledgment and thank-you letter to donors.
Upon request, we may also be able to provide the following:
- A letter of support and/or proof of non-profit status
- A summary report of donations received on your school’s behalf
- Merchant card services (must be arranged at least six weeks prior to the event date)
A CPSF Fiscal Sponsorship application must be completed annually for each fundraising effort. We look forward to working with you to support students in Corvallis public schools!
