ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Hours: An average of 15-20 hrs/week, flexible schedule, and some remote hours with prior approval

Compensation: $18/hr

The Corvallis Public Schools Foundation (CPSF) is dedicated to supporting Corvallis public schools by providing resources and opportunities that help every student succeed.

The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in this work and is responsible for assisting the Executive Director of the Corvallis Public Schools Foundation, supporting the Board of Trustees, and contributing to the organization’s growth by assisting in bringing programs and fundraising efforts to scale.

The Administrative Assistant will focus on three key initiatives:

  • Provide administrative support for the work of CPSF’s Executive Director and Board of Trustees
  • Assist with administration of grants, scholarships, awards, and other initiatives funded by CPSF
  • Promote the growth and visibility of CPSF

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Required
● Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
● Independent, self-starter with problem-solving abilities and a strong work ethic
● Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
● Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
● A commitment to advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion in our work to support Corvallis public schools

Preferred
● Passion for and experience in public education, youth development, non-profit management,
and/or development
● Experience managing social media communication, and email marketing platforms (preference
for Constant Contact)
● Experience with website maintenance (preference for WordPress)
● Experience with database management
● Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
● Bachelor’s degree or three years of experience in a similar position
